Obituary for Bennie Lou Walker
BENNIE LOU WALKER
Victoria – Bennie Lou Walker went to be with the Lord May 13, 2018 at the age of 78. She was born December 2, 1939 in Yoakum, Texas to the late Benny F. and Becky Tiller.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leonard Walker; daughters Sharon Isenberg and her companion Pete Moreno, Jr. and Lauren (Al) Hinton; son Chris (Jo) Walker; sister Mary Sue Ferrell; brother Ron Waters and grandchildren Devin Hawkins, Zachary Walker, Meryl Walker, Sydney Walker and Olivia Walker.
Bennie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted catholic and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved running the gift shop at DeTar North Hospital. She loved to cook, bake and do crafts. She enjoyed playing Bingo and go on gambling trips. She also adored her cat Brie.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Grace Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
