Dolores Dominguez  Cantu
Dolores Dominguez Cantu, 94, went to be the Lord on Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1924 in Houston, Texas and residing in Victoria, Texas for 92 years, to the late Job and Juanita Zamarripa Dominguez.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother. She was a life-long member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Throughout her life she was always very caring of her family. She enjoyed baking, crafts, and holidays with the family.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Santiago (Jimmy) Cantu of Victoria; daughters, Madeline (Larry) Canchola (3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren); Cynthia O’Brien (1 son, 1 daughter and 6 grandchildren), all of Victoria; and sons, Manuel Cantu (2 step-daughters, and 3 grandchildren); and Michael (Pam) Cantu (1 daughter and 2 grandchildren) all of Victoria.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Esther Cantu; brothers, Feliciano Dominguez, Alfredo Dominguez, Roberto Dominguez, Arthur Dominguez, and Jobito Dominguez; and son-in-law, Jerry O’Brien.

Pallbearers will be grandson, Corey O’Brien, and great grandsons, Noah Garza, Orrin O’Brien, Cody Pflaum, Dallas Lopez, and Tre White.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87 North, Victoria. Funeral Service will be on May 10, 2018 beginning at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Fr. Gabriel Espinosa, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
