Obituary for Richard Tumlinson
Victoria – Richard Tumlinson went to be with the Lord April 29, 2018 at the age of 74. He was born August 27, 1943 to the late Jasper P. and Ruth Tumlinson.
Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was “Big Pa” to his grandchildren. He retired from DuPont in 2000. He loved playing cards and dominoes and was a member of Model A Club, Crossroads Cruiser and Golden Crescent Car Club.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Tumlinson; children Paula (Daryl) Smolik, Jim (Betty) Tumlinson, Matt (Amanda) Pair and Nicole (James) Arambula; sisters Lottie Hranicky and Wanda (Donnie) Davenport; brothers Bob (Vondenna) Tumlinson and Jody (Shirley) Tumlinson; Uncle Don (Barbara) Tumlinson; grandchildren Jason, Jenny, Austin, Cameron, Emily, Carson, Colten and Erynn and sisters-in-law Sheila (Terry) Miller and Tammy Munson.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters Ella Ruth Walthall and Emma Lee Slaughter and brother-in-law Keith Munson.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 4102 N. Ben Jordan Street, Victoria.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Food Pantry, c/o Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
