Joyce Elaine Baze, 81, of Adkins, TX passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born May 31, 1936 in Refugio, TX to the late Harley and Elizabeth Agnes Perkins Reed. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kingsville, TX; as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. Joyce also worked as a CNA for 12 years at the Canterbury Nursing Home.

Joyce is survived by her husband Homer J. Baze, Jr.; sons, Troy Allen Baze (Rebecca) and Christopher Michael Baze (Virginia); daughters, Janet Elaine Denham (Gordon Keith); and Holly Ann Taylor (Salvador).

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; daughter in law Judy Henningsen.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Eugene Baze; her brothers, Marvin David Reed and Harley Dwayne Reed; and her sister, Helen Bennett.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Coleto Baptist Church from 11:30am to 1:00pm with services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
