DOROTHY R. WATSON
1932 ~ 2016
Victoria- Our sweet mother and sister, Dorothy R. Watson, 84, of Victoria, Texas, went home on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Leeds, Alabama to Mavis Jones Royals.
She was a hard working lady that raised strong daughters. She loved her grandchildren and great-granddaughters with all her heart. Rest in Peace Mama, fly high Chicken Little! She loved her cat, Baby.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lori Nelson, son-in-law, David and daughter Sandi Joralemon; sister, Delores Harris; grandchildren, Jada Kliem, Brittany Londergan and husband Andrew, Trace Valenta, Adelaide, Dawson and Augusta Joralemon; great-grandchildren, Taygan Landrey, Raelyn Dick and Emerson Londergan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Mavis Jones Royals; sisters, Irene Ratchford and Evelyn Byram; brother Nelson Royals.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Nursery Cemetery with Rev. David Rose officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Harris, Andrew Londergan, David Joralemon, Trace Valenta and Johnny Kliem.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jetta Mobley for the loving care and grilled cheese sandwiches that she blessed MeMaw with.
