Victoria- Serafin Martinez, 77, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2016. He was born on October 12, 1939 in Mexico to Maria Saravia and Pablo Martinez.
Serafin is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Gonzales; daughters, Ana Maria Martinez of Dallas, Antonia Benavides, Demetria Martinez, Hipolita Lozoya sons, Federico Martinez of Dallas, Martin Martinez and Victorino Martinez; sisters, Julia Martinez, Demecia Martinez and Romola Martinez; brothers, Vicente Martinez, Esteban Martinez, Cistos Martinez, Antolin Martinez and Roman Martinez; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Serafin is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Saravia and Pablo Martinez; brother, Onesimo Martinez; sister, Gabina Martinez; 1 grandchild.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, Texas 77901.
